Working Student (m/f/d) in Product Management

The NEOCOSMO GmbH is a growing company with locations in Saarbrücken and Berlin. Our mission: making employees more productive with intelligent methods of digital communication. To achieve this, we develop with our cloud-based software solution PIIPE award-winning digital workplaces for companies and public institutions. Our office is located in the Science Park, right on the campus of Saarland University.
As a Working Student in Product Management, you work at the intersection of development, project management, and product. You test, prepare releases, document, and actively help shape PIIPE.
Your tasks
- You run test cases before every release and document the results in a traceable way for each release
- You record bugs reproducibly in Jira, classify them by severity and verify fixes through regression testing
- You maintain our Jira tickets, follow up on open items with development and project management and report back unclear acceptance criteria
- You review and finalise the AI-generated release notes and help develop checklists and the approval process
- You configure demo and test systems for customer presentations
- You take charge of maintaining our help portal and write configuration guides for new features
- You develop your own AI use cases for our product processes and can take ownership of them
What you bring
- You are an enrolled student – ideally in business informatics, computer science, media informatics or a similar field – and are interested in modern software solutions and in optimising product and work processes
- You are interested in software testing and enjoy collaborating and communicating with other teams
- You work in a structured and independent way, organise yourself well and have an eye for detail
- You have first experience in the software field or would like to start exactly there
- You have ideally already worked with Jira
- You speak very good German and good English
- You have around 20 hrs/week available, ideally over several semesters
